Miro Mariapori

Full-stack Software Developer

Miro Mariapori

I build reliable user interfaces, backends, APIs, and data flows with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

My strongest experience is the 15-month GameRAT research project, where I owned the complete web implementation and also designed and built a neural network for physiotherapy movement analysis.

Graduating August 2026 • Open to roles throughout Finland • Willing to relocate

Capabilities

From interface to infrastructure

My strongest experience is in web and full-stack development, but I am comfortable working across system boundaries and learning the technology a problem requires.

I am most useful when a feature needs to move from an unclear requirement to a maintainable implementation that connects the interface, backend, and data.

  • Product interfaces
  • APIs and integrations
  • Data and real-time systems
  • Deployment and delivery

Approach

Ownership, clarity, and useful software

I favor readable architecture, clear decisions, useful documentation, and software that works well from the user's perspective.

I can take independent ownership of a large technical area, while still working openly with specialists and other developers.

I use Claude Code and Codex for problem-solving, refactoring, and documentation, then review the changes myself and verify them with tests, linting, and other quality checks.

GameRAT research project

Owned the complete web implementation in a four-person multidisciplinary team: React, GraphQL, Node.js, MongoDB, Three.js, authentication, deployment, movement-data processing, and a neural network built from scratch.

Bachelor's thesis • 2026

Autonomous vehicle route management

Built a React/Leaflet interface, Node.js WebSocket layer, command routing, and a multi-vehicle simulator. Communication was integrated as far as the vehicle computer.

Project-based • 8/2022–Present

Freelance software development

Delivered six smaller client projects spanning websites, WordPress, automation, integrations, and Python-based data processing.
